Characteristics of Product

Innocuous
Due to special production treatment, TECHWOOD does not emit formaldehyde, benzene derivatives and any other toxic gases. TECHWOOD meets the health standard of Green Building materials.

Fireproof
With high oxygen index, TECHWOOD does not burn easily. Under high temperature, the surface of the board will carbonize and has low gas emission. TECHWOOD has received the “Taiwan CNS6532 Fire Resistant Level II” certification.

Thermal Insulation
The “close cell” nature of TECHWOOD has excellent thermal insulation and is suitable for refrigeration related use.

Waterproof
TECHWOOD is able to absorb and release the moisture in the air. It has been tested to have a swelling rate of less than 0.05% and does not decompose after soaking in water, thus ensure the quality of the interior décor.

Prevent mould / Antibacterial
TECHWOOD inhibits the growth of mould and other biological contaminants, thus ensure the quality of living environment.

Moth proof
Moths and termites are two problems that still affect conventional wood-based board, but not TECHWOOD which improves the durability of household furniture.

Durability / Resistant to Temperature
TECHWOOD is able to withstand the temperature range from –180C to +180C. It has an anti-aging characteristic that prolongs its life span.

Green Environment Material
TECHWOOD panel does not contain halogen compounds and/or floro- or chloro-hydrocarbons and is ozone friendly. It is also free of the eight major restricted heavy metals and therefore does not pollute our environment.
